If you are reading this, I have not yet completed my master's and am concurrently working on it while also working full time. But, in the meantime, here is the rundown.
The topic examines numerical and experimental compression after-impact (CAI) testing of honeycomb sandwich panels subjected to low-velocity impact damage. The research combines numerical simulations of CAI testing using LS-DYNA with experimental CAI testing using a compression testing machine fitted with a digital image correlation system, allowing me to compare full-field displacements and strains. Once the master's is completed, the thesis will be posted here, but for now, here are some images.
